Viewed as the driving force behind 7 Day Weekend, Jay has entertained crowds all over the U.S. and Canada for two decades. He sites the largest audience he ever performed in front of was 19,000+ when he sang the National Anthem (July 11, 1999) at a Minnesota Twins game. Jay plays (any guitar that is in tune!!), but more specifically: Jackson, Ibanez, and Kramer guitars, Marshall amps and Audio Technica microphones. Some of Jay's former bands include: One Toy Short (With / Mark), Majesty, Denmarkk, Bad Habit, and Damascus. As the co-founder of 7 Day Weekend, Mark is the only member that has been in the band since the very beginning. His soaring leads as well as his awesome vocals are staples to the 7 Day sound. Mark plays GMW, Jackson, and Charvel guitars, and uses Laney and Bogner amps and Marshall cabinets. A few of Marks former bands include: Harlot, One Toy Short (W/ Kevin and Jay) Toys, Lynn Allen, and Toy Menagerie. Come witness Mark in action and see what all the fuss is about! Ironically, Billy was asked to join 7 Day Weekend when the band was first formed. 13 years later, things fell into place, and Billy has been making his presence known ever since. Armed with a killer combination of blazing bass work, experience, and on stage energy, he makes every performance a great one. Billy plays only the Yamaha “Billy Sheehan –Yamaha/Attitude” bass. He has one in each color offered! His amp of choice is the Ampeg Billy Sheehan model, and he combines them with Ampeg cabinets. If you haven’t guessed by now, Billy sites his biggest influence as Billy Sheehan. He also lists 80’s rock as early influences. Kevin also rejoins 7 Day Weekend after a few years off, and is probably the most schooled musician in the band. Kevin not only plays keyboards, but also plays guitar and adds vocals when needed. Some of Kevin’s former bands include: One Toy Short (W/ Mark and Jay) Toys, Hot Pink, and of course 7 Day Weekend. Erich rejoins the 7 Day Weekend family and brings with him many years of playing and on stage experience. Some of Erich’s former bands include: Skyward, Vendetta, Fraidee Kat, Cry Wolf, 7 Day Weekend (of course) Alibi, and he still lays down the beat for Gemini. Erich currently plays: Pearl Masters Custom drums, DW hardware, and both Paiste & Zildjian cymbals.
